The March Hare's trickery:

Two weeks of warmth

Then - snap!

rose leaves drink the snow drops

maple flowers backlit warm red defy the cold

frogs awakened to swimming

crawl silently under muddy leaf blankets

rhododendron leaves grumble curling into themselves . . .

April is so close . . .

Trying to write that poem a day

I am asking my students to write every day. I should be able to do this myself!
